Hello, this isn't an urgent matter but its bothering me a little bit,
I own a HP Pavilion notebook, not sure what the exact model is,
it has 3 Usb ports and it just wasn't enough for me so I got a Usb 3.0 hub,
Everything was fine until about 3 months ago when an issue occurred,
when the usb hub is plugged in and i try to boot my computer, the caps-lock light flashes 4 times slowly and then 5 / 6 times quickly, according to google its a bios issue but I cant find a solution to it,
I have checked if something is causing this in the bios but usb boot is disabled, network boot is also disabled and nothing is before the windows boot loader in the boot configuration,
the only devices in the hub are a Corsair K55 keyboard and a Corsair glaive mouse.
If both devices are unplugged the system boots fine even with the hub attached,
What could be the problem here as its quite annoying,
On a side note my system also has trouble going to sleep, shutdown and hibernating
it freezes for about 5 minutes and sometimes more, haven't found a issue that could be affecting it and tried multiple tutorials such as disabling the power off, of the Intel(r) Management Engine Interface, as that was a common suggestion.
but it still doesn't work, there is nothing plugged in when it happen and the only thing I cant do is wait for the system to shut down. this seems to be a Windows issue as I have tried ubuntu live mode and shut it down and it worked fine,
I am using windows 10 home 64 bit version 1909,
I would like to fix both of them as I plan on giving the notebook to someone else in about a year and I want to give them a working one,
thank you for any support provided.
