Hi there, while I was removing the keyboard, I broke the connector, and now I want to use an external keyboard.

I was wondering if it going to work, specially with another problem below.

Hi:

 

You should be able to use a USB keyboard without the need to be in Windows. 

 

I recommend you plug the keyboard in the notebook's USB 2 port for best results.
