I use a business app that required pressing F8 to continue processing. It's cumbersome to press FN+F8 many times in a row.

How can I change it to just pressing F8 rather than FN+F8?

@SG08

Basically, you can't.

There is a freeware app that can be used to reassign key codes, but even then, you would have to press as combination of keys -- so that would not be an improvement.

Hello

P ELitebook has  BIOS setting for that purpose: Launch Hotkeys without fn keypress. Check the staus of this paramente and change it. I guess it should be Unchecked. try by yourself.

Fount the solution.

For those who are interested in knowing, on the left side on the keyboard, I pressed the FN+Shift. This caused that the light on the fn key light-up. Now I just press F8 for my purpose rather than FN+F8.
