Used laptop help

Hello , i purchased a used HP Pavilion Gaming - 15-ec0001ca, and the owner reset the computer before signing out of all accounts. He doesn't have access to the e-mail accounts anymore, and I cannot delete his accounts off the machine. Any ideas?

Hi:

I recommend that you use the HP cloud recovery tool to create a bootable USB recovery drive that you can use to reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with the notebook.

Here is an info link for how to use the utility.  You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive for this.

HP Consumer PCs - Using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool in Windows 11 and 10 | HP® Customer Support

It will delete all existing data on the drive, repartition and reformat the drive.

If you want to use the tool to create the recovery media on a different PC you will need to enter your PC's product number in the tool's search window.

Your PC's product number is:  8GH43UA#ABL
