I live in Australia and are travelling to Japan for 3 weeks. I want to take m Envy HP laptop serial no [Personal Information Removed]but my charger is a 3 prong plug 240V as required in Aust. Japan requires a 2 prong plug 110V.
Will a 2 prong 110V recharge my laptop satisfactorily and how can I purchase one?

No problem. My family members (including me) used our HP, Dell and Lenovo notebooks in Japan (probably from the last century). All we need is is few tourist adapters which you can buy at any tourists shops or at the airports. My daughter worked in Japan for 6 years therefore I bought only a C5 cord for her from Jaycar.
During term 3 school holidays, my son's family went to Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto using same set of my adapters for his computer, his wife and children's tablets, phones .... with same adapters.
Regards.
