So I accidentally turned off all Microsoft services or might have been a computer issue at the time, and what happened was that i wanted to turn off a pop up from Nvidia and it was bothering me so I went and pressed “Windows-key then R” which opened the RUN app so I typed in MSconfig I went to the services tab and I hid all Microsoft services so I don’t mess with anything and believe it or not it ended up turning off and I saw all of them were off so I turned them back on and went back into MSconfig to make sure that it was saved and it wasn’t so I did it once more to make sure that all the services were on and I was happy about the fact I disabled the pop up. Then I restart my computer and it all goes down. I got pretty upset about it, and saw that I couldn’t sign in through my computer so I go into bios mode and try resetting it. then I saw that I needed a bitlocker key. I looked up some videos about how to find Bitlocker key (I dislike the feature). So I ended up forgetting the email for the security thing what ever it is called so that I can access my Bitlocker key and I updated it then it told me to wait 30 days. You have to be serious there is no way I’m going to get a bitlocker key in thirty days I cannot do that because I use my computer everyday. Then I found more ways and I learned about the command prompt with unlocking the drive because that’s what the bitlocker was for and I didn’t want to deal with it on my own laptop. I unlocked my SSD then formatted my SSD and ended up losing everything so I did more research and found out you can use a USB flash drive and so that is what I did and keep in mind I formatted everything on my disk like an idiot and I could run windows properly. So there was this thing called “Creat a recovery drive” and I saw that I was able to do it through someone else’s computer but I didn’t know it would take the exact software from the computer so after an hour of taking software from my brothers computer it worked and I put it in to recover everything. So I did all the sign in things and I saw that something was off. It was laggy and strangely slow after that I got in and I was trying to put the brightness down and it didn’t work so I go to setting and my computer was assigned as an HP victus gaming desktop. But everything else as it was functions and knew what the computer was excepted the fact that I had the wrong software. I tried doing research and no answers. I don’t know what to do so I have to let you take the honors because this was a dumb mistake and I don’t know how to change it back.
