I've had my HP Victus ( Ryzen 5, 16 GB RAM 1TB storage SSD, Nvidia geforce 4050) for around 8 months and my laptop screen started to flicker black for about 15 seconds and was working again like normal after for about 5 hours, I came back to my laptop and found that the screen was black and not turning on, I've tried a force reset and checking if it was a display problem using my monitor

I'm not sure if this is useful information but I think the battering is being used as when I plug in a USB to charge my phone, my phone starts to charge.

Please help me.

@Zain56, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

If you're experiencing a blank screen on your HP Victus laptop (equipped with a Ryzen 5 processor, 16 GB RAM, 1TB SSD, and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050), follow these steps to troubleshoot the issue:

Check Power Supply: Ensure that the laptop is adequately charged and connected to a power source. Verify that the charger is working correctly.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Turn off the laptop.
  • Disconnect any external devices and remove the power cable.
  • Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cable and turn the laptop back on.

Connect an External Display: Connect the laptop to an external monitor to determine if the issue is related to the internal display. If the external display works, it may indicate a problem with the laptop's screen.

Refer to this guide for further troubleshooting steps: HP PCs - Computer starts but the screen remains blank (Windows 11, 10) | HP® Support

I hope this helps.
