HP Envy 15 Notebook
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I recently updated my drivers through driver booster 7 though the device manager said there were no updates my drivers at that time. Everything except some were running fine. Today, I decided to install the official drivers so I downloaded intel and nvidia drivers from hp website and installed intel driver. While installing nvidia, my system froze and upon force restart, I had black screen. Then , I went into safe mode and uninstalled Intel drivers and everything was fine but  I started getting Blue screen with Video_Dxdkrnl_Fatal error and I'm not able to download the intel driver's too. I know it has got something to do with the drivers because intel driver is replaced with Microsoft Basic display adapter. Whenever I try to update it, it gives me the blue screen. Can someone help please?

Using any third-party drivers app is generally a mistake -- as they often only want your money and will install outdated and erroneous drivers to get that.

If you can boot to safe mode, then see if you can do a system restore back to before you installed the drivers.
