i HAVE A 6550b laptop pro which was upgraded to windows 10 and works very slowly . To place back on windows 7 , i havent windows.old and its passed 30days and i have no window 7 disks. I tried to load from windows however once i loaded the key for the laptop, microsoft said you need to get software from the manufacture which is hp.
So to load windows 7 again which disks do i need to buy from ebay or do i get them from here or can i not go back now (i have the key) cheers for any advice..

Hi:
HP will no longer have W7 recovery disks for your PC, since W7 is no longer supported by Microsoft.
See if you can make a bootable W7 Pro installation flash drive by downloading the W7 Pro 64 bit ISO file from the link below.
I assume that W7 Pro is what the product key is good for...
The only file I have is English (US). Hopefully that will work with the W7 product key you have.
You may need to use the automated Microsoft phone activation system to activate Windows.
The link will be good for 24 hours from the time of this reply.
Use the Microsoft tool that I zipped up and attached below to transfer the ISO file to a USB flash drive so that it is bootable.
After W7 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.
