Hi,
I'm trying to install the WLAN drivers here.
https://support.hp.com/gb-en/drivers/selfservice/closure/hp-probook-450-g5-notebook-pc/17047142
I've tried it on multiple machines (differng model all of which are compatible(, and although it says its installed successfully, in Windows it still shows the old version 19.x
I've rebooted and it still not updating?

You're very welcome.
That would not be possible as the card is limited to that release.
You could get the 9260 AC which is pretty cheap and that would give you the latest driver.

You have to read the release notes from Intel for each model wifi adapter.
While the driver may be 21.whatever, the wifi adapters only update to what the release notes indicate.
For example...let's take the 7265AC...
Here's the latest driver for W10 x64... 21.90.3 (Latest) Date: 5/20/2020
If you look at the release notes, the 7265 AC will be updated to 19.51.29.1 for 7265(Rev. D)/3165/3168

You're very welcome.
Once again, it depends on the model wifi adapter...
The 21.90.2 package installs the Windows® 10 Wi-Fi drivers for the following Intel® Wireless Adapters:
- 21.90.3.2 for AX201/AX200/9560/9260/9462/9461 (Only available in 64-bit version)
- 20.70.17.1 for 8265/8260 (Only available in 64-bit version)
- 19.51.29.1 for 7265(Rev. D)/3165/3168

Thanks Paul What i mean is are there any packages currently tat will update 7265 to anything higher than 19.51.29.1 or is that as far as it goes? I only ask as it flagged in a Nessus scan that they needed to be 21.70.0 or above - and wondered if that's even possible!?
