I am not sure if this is the right section to post this, please forgive me if it's not.
DEDICATED - GPU won't work AFTER BIOS Update
Hi, my dedicated GPU is not working anymore - AMD Radeon HD 7600/7670M after updating from stock older Bios to the newest bios on HP site.
Device manager is reporting my AMD RADEON GPU with a caution sign stating the device was stopped because it reported problems (Code43) No matter what i try, reinstalling driver, Either from HP or AMD i can't get it to work anymore.
MY QUESTIONS >>
#1 IS IT POSSIBLE TO DOWNGRADE THE BIOS - Even if it's locked ?
#2 - Could the newer bios somehow damaged or not fully recognized my DEDICATED GPU ?
#3 Why on earth is there a BIOS archive on HP's driver page, if you obviously can't downgrade your bios ???
i tried the following with no succsses - WIN key + B + Power.
The Capslock button led's blinks twice, Screen is blank and FAN is spinning faster and faster.
i've read online about the blinks, allegedly it states that it indicates a corrupted bios or a damaged laptop. but i can confirm that nothing is damaged, at least nothing was damaged before updating the bios
PS: Wanted to thank HP for ruining my laptop. Thank you, no more HP's in the future.
And also would like to warn people who read this now or in the close future to think twice about updating BIOS for whatever reason, it might do some good for your machine or as in my case it might just ruin your machine. !!!!!!!!!

Your thread is a bit confusing.
Are you able to boot to Windows or not?
Connect the power adapter to your notebook.
Press the power button and immediately begin tapping the F2 key to invoke the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI Utility.
Click on Firmware Management. That will invoke the BIOS Management window.
At the bottom of the window you will see three buttons. BIOS UPdate\BIOS Rollback and Main menu.
If th BIOS Rollback is an option it will be black like the Main menu button.
Click on the Rollback BIOS button. If it is already a gray color then Rollback is not an option.
Let the process begin and do not interfere with it or shut off your notebook! This will take time to complete.
If you are not patient and shut down the notebook, it will become a "Bricked"expensive paperweight.

Thanks for replying and apologies if you got confused.
There's no "FIRMWARE MANAGEMENT" Option in bios. That's why i tried - Win key + B + Power
Also everything works, except my AMD Graphics card. My cpu got slower and dedicated graphics are not working anymore, this machine has 2 GPU's.
