OMEN by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop 16-n0000 (63B17AV)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When I purchased the laptop, I got the extended warranty with it. Now, at one year old, within the HP Support Assistant, it is showing a message that my warranty has expired:

However, when I click on the Warranty icon, it states that my laptop 'is in warranty', with a 2026 expiry date:

I shouldn't be faced with a big red warning message that my laptop is out of warranty, and then have to view the details in another screen, to see that it clearly isn't. How can this be resolved?

So four days after my initial warranty period expired, and the day after I posted my query, the status now reads as 'Care Pack - Extended Coverage'. You have to ask yourself, why does it take three days for the extended warranty to kick in? Go figure!

Sorry, but we are just a Community Support forum staffed by part-time volunteers not associated with HP.

We have no access to other HP functional areas including: billing, repair (i.e., Service Centers), sales, or legal (i.e., warranty).

For these issues, your best bet is to contact HP Customer Service to see what they will do for you:

Good to see this sorted itself out -- but yes, it is a mystery why it took so long.
