Hello Team,

I have been trying to find information about my products warranty and adding of ADP to my laptop if it doesnt have one since the day I got. Is there anybody who can help me. 

 

1) What kind of warranty is available on my laptop ?

2) How to add ADP if needed ?

 

I couldnt find the right forum group to post this message as well.

In order to find out information about your product's warranty, you can install the HP Support Assistant application, create an account using your email address or sign into your existing account, and add your product's serial number to the application.  This will give you information about the remaining warranty in place for your product.  I'm not certain about ADP, what it is and how to add it, other than if it is an application it needs to be purchased or installed from a website or installation media.

The normal warranty will cover hardware defects, but not accidental damage.

Thanks for the quick response. I earlier tried the best2serve link and got this message.

Voor dit product is garantie uitbreiding helaas niet meer mogelijk.

 

I got this laptop in dubai. Could that be the reason ? If yes , I actually thought HP has a worldwide warranty policy. Am i wrong ?

ADP is accidental damage protection. I have checked HP support assistant. But no details about ADP found there. 🙂

Yes it does say Warranty remaining. and shows the number of months in green.
