Warranty expiration date is wrong on a new notebook PC

HP Recommended
Proboook 450 G7
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Seems impossible to contact a real HP person for this issue, so here goes.

I just bought a brand new HP ProBook 450 G7 running Windows 10, however the warranty start and end dates are not correct on whatever system HP keeps track of this information.

How do I get it corrected ?

How can I get in contact with a real person ?

@airmojo

The warranty start date is set when the PC is BUILT, not when it is SOLD.

You might be able to correct that by going here: Check your warranty status - HP Support Center

If that does not work, you have to contact HP Customer Support:

USA/Canada HP contact info: https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp
