Hi @CJ0531 ,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your HP ENVY x360 15 Convertible PC after getting the keyboard replaced. Here are troubleshooting steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:
Restart your laptop: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve hardware and software issues. Turn off your laptop, wait a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
Check Device Manager:
- Right-click on the Start button and select "Device Manager."
- Look for the keyboard section and check if your keyboard is listed. Make sure there are no yellow exclamation marks indicating a problem.
Update Drivers:
- In Device Manager, right-click on the keyboard and select "Update driver."
- Choose to search automatically for updated driver software. If there are updates available, let Windows install them.
Reinstall Keyboard Drivers:
- In Device Manager, right-click on the keyboard and select "Uninstall device."
- Restart your laptop, and Windows should automatically reinstall the keyboard drivers.
Check for Windows Updates:
- Make sure your operating system is up-to-date. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for updates.
Run HP Diagnostics:
- HP laptops often come with built-in diagnostics tools. Restart your laptop and press the ESC key or F2 key (or another key specified by your laptop) to access the diagnostics menu. Run a keyboard test.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
