Water damage to HP Spectre X360

I just accidentally spilled a glass of water to my Spectre, then dried it. Immediately before i dried it, i switch it off for a couple of hours. Its been 5 hours, and when i tried to switch it on, it doesnt work. It still have manufacturer warranty. What should i do? I Love my laptop very much. And use it everyday, now i put some rice on the exposed area and put my laptop nearby fan. Need some advise please? I am from Singapore and bought the laptop from Jakarta, Indonesia

However ... it's most likely that SOME damage was done, regardless of how quickly you turned off the laptop and what you did afterward. The key problems are only the surface and almost certainly, more damage was done than that.

The ONLY way to know for sure is to take or send it to an HP Service Center and pay a LOT of money for them to run full diagnostics on it, and after that, to disassemble it to repair or replace any damaged components.

And, if the motherboard is damaged, the cost of repair can easily exceed the cost of replacing the laptop -- because (as far as I know) liquid spill damage is NOT covered under the warranty.

Thanks for your prompt replied sir. May i check aside from motherboard, generally for a full run diagnostic how much is the estimate cost? I'll bring this laptop to HP service centre as soon as it open today.
