I spilled soup on my keyboard a it most likely got into the charging hole and the other plugs too, as soon as it happned i turned it off but as i wiped the keys i touched the turn on/off button again but the screen didn’t light up just the key,now i spread my lapton max and put it so the water from the sides would come out, luckily at least i think only a little came out from the left side. The turn on button is still lighted up i don’t know what to do, the screen will not light up even after 10mins and no matter what i do the key will not turn the light off as well i don’t know now if the laptop is turned off or on.

Turn the laptop OFF -- and do NOT turn it back ON!!
Spilling liquid on a laptop is the second-most damaging thing you can do to it (first is dropping it on a hard floor).
Here are some tips on dealing with liquid damage: http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/you-just-spilled-water-or-coffee-on-your-laptop-heres-what-you-should-d...
However ... it's most likely that SOME damage was done, regardless of how quickly you turned off the laptop and what you did afterward. The key problems are only the surface and almost certainly, more damage was done than that.
The ONLY way to know for sure is to take or send it to an HP Service Center and pay a LOT of money for them to run full diagnostics on it, and after that, to disassemble it to repair or replace any damaged components.
And, if the motherboard is damaged, the cost of repair can easily exceed the cost of replacing the laptop -- because (as far as I know) liquid spill damage is NOT covered under the warranty.

My apologies for not reading ur advice ,i asked for it but i didnt check my spam box. I tried turning it on it has some kind of an update? It reached to 94% and started all over again. Is there any way to save it or it’s hopeless and i should just check my savings acc for a sum of money as you mentioned.
