Hi,

I recently tried freeing up space and then deleted the D:Partition.

Now my storage has increased but I feel like I want that partition to be in my disk so I tried creating a bootable USB from Cloud recovery. I erased every partition in my Disk and installed through HP Recovery USB created before thinking it would restore the D:Recovery but it didn't.

Is there a way I can create that D:Recovery in my system like it was shipped?

I am in a similar straight, but had done the free upgrade from 8.1 to 10 Home when it was offered, and now have a copy of 10.  It booted up (eventually), and that free upgrade also updated the embedded activation code in BIOS.

HP does offer a section in the software download/purchase, to buy the original OS (you can google the how to better than me explaining).  It would cost ~$45+like $8-10 for shipping, but does not say that it included all of the software that was originally in the recovery partition.  If it does have all of it (like 5 DVDs worth), then maybe I'd consider it.  Otherwise EBay/Amazon for an after market disk, or just download Windows from Microsoft (You can burn the ISO to a disk to reinstall Windows because of the embedded activation code on the BIOS/Motherboard).

Hi,

I have created the disk and now the computer is fine. I have created a Recovery disk earlier.

All I want is to get that D:Recovery Partition embedded into my system like it was during the factory shipping time.
