@Rod31

I have tried all these suggestions except the vbs script -- and at least, on my PC, NONE of them work.

The SKU line is blank.

Lubuntu command does not work because in Win10, the filesystem remains MOUNTED (due to Fast Startup) and Linux then can not open the filesystem to read the file.

The cmd does not work

The powershell command does not work

If as you say, your are running Win10 S, and you can not run any commands or utilities, then you have a problem.

If none of these are working for you a workaround would be to boot your PC from something other than Win10 S and then run a utility that will retrieve your product key.

First, use this link to download the utility and save it to a USB stick:  Showkey - Windows 10 Forums

Second, using a second PC, download and install a utility known as Macrium Reflect and then use that to create Boot Media in the form of a USB stick. When you do that reboot, be patient, as it could take several minutes to get to the desktop.

Once you are at the desktop, stick in the USB stick with Showkey on it and run it.  If it works, it will display the product key.

Not knowing what OS you use I cannot really contradict your findings.

In Linux if Windows has set the 'dirty bit' it can be reset. I have done it.

Since the Windows results were a copy and paste, as was the Lubuntu one, they obviously worked for me.

Thank you for your help guys, I just found out another way just by downloading Produkey file from nirsoft.net and extracting it to get application which will then be used to identify your product key. I really appreciate your help and concerns all. Thank you again.
