HP Spectre x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Brand new HP Spectre x360 has been nothing but trouble since coming out of the box.

 

The latest in a line of things that don't work: the camera. 

 

Tried updating everything, doesn't help. Tried turning off anti virus, doesn't help. Tried looking on Device Manager for "camera" to specifically update-> it's not listed on device manager at all, not as "camera" and not under "sound, video, and game controllers"

 

Anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks in advance

I understand that you are unable to use the camera.

In the meantime, please check on the laptop right side is there any Privacy switch. Just turn off and check for the camera. As shown below image.
