Did you contact HP, or did they contact you?
If you contacted HP, where did you get the phone number?
Asking because:
1) HP does NOT contact customers, for ANY problems -- so if they contacted you, this is a SCAM
2) HP does not publish US phone numbers online anymore due to these scams, so if you found the number online, then this is a SCAM
