I have an HPE Pavilion 15z-eh300 running Windows 11 64 bit. AMD Ryzen 7 7730u processor with Radeon graphics. 64 gb RAM. 2TB SSD. When I try to register it, the web site tells me it can't recognize the product from the serial number alone, and to enter the model number. I enter the model number and it says 'invalid model number'. I've tried inputting the serial number and model number from the back of the device and from the BIOS screen (they're the same in both places).  I've also tried using the auto-detect software which doesn't recognize my device either.  I can't register for my warranty if HPE can't recognize the device?

Hi @nbac6s7,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I understand you are facing an issue with the Web site doesn't recognize the serial number/product number Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

Verify Serial Number Format:

  • Double-check the format of the serial number. HP serial numbers typically include a combination of letters and numbers. Ensure you're not confusing characters like 0 (zero) with O (letter O), 1 (one) with I (letter I), etc.

Check the Printer Label:

  • Verify the serial number on the physical label of the printer. It is usually located on the back or bottom of the printer. Ensure that you are copying it correctly from the label.

Try Different Methods:

  • Sometimes, the support site or chatbot may be having issues. Try accessing HP support through a different browser or device.

Manual Entry:

  • When entering the serial number, make sure there are no extra spaces or hidden characters. Try typing it manually rather than pasting it.

For the exact name of the model and the product? Please refer to this document for steps to find the product details.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
