Where would I find the model name? Haven't touched the computer in years.

Hi @jstnita808,

Thank you for the response.

No worries, I’ll guide you through how to find your model name so we can better assist you:

1. Check the Label on the Device:
Look for a sticker or label on:

The bottom of a laptop

The side or back of a desktop/tower
It should mention something like:

HP Pavilion 15-cs3006nr

HP Envy 700-216

Product Number (P/N) or Model Number

2. BIOS/Startup Screen (if accessible):
If your PC powers on but doesn’t boot, try this:

Turn the computer OFF completely

Power it ON, and immediately press the Esc key repeatedly (once every second)

If a menu appears, select System Information (F1) to see the model name

I hope this helps.

I'm glad I could help! 😊 If this resolved your issue, please mark it as "Accepted Solution" and click "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?" Your feedback not only keeps us going but also helps others find the solution faster! 👍
