I ran a test and got a failure code (RUSFS3-9B7A3X-GXGJ2K-60VT03), but don't know what it means.  How do I contact someone to get more information?

Hi:

 

The error code reported, Hard Disk 1 Quick Test Failure, means the hard drive needs to be replaced and the operating system reinstalled.

 

Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the hard drive removal and replacement procedure.

You may want to consider replacing the 2.5" 500 GB mechanical hard drive, with a better performing, normally more reliable 2.5" solid state drive, such as this...

After you replace the drive, you should be able to use the HP cloud recovery tool on another working Windows PC to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.
