What driver installs driver ACPI\HPIC0003\2&DABA3FF&0 for Envy 17m-bw0xxx

I had to install Win 10 Pro from scratch.  I've gotten all the drivers loaded (I think) but I cannot find which driver will get rid of the unknown device ACPI\HPIC0003\2&DABA3FF&0.

If anyone knows what driver will do, please let me know.  I suspect it might be something to do with the fingerprint sensor but I get an error when I try to install that driver.

Hi:

It isn't the fingerprint sensor that needs the driver.

It is something called the HP Application Driver.

I have zipped up and attached the driver you need for that device below.

Download and unzip the file to its folder.

Do not do anything with the files in the folder.

Go to the device manager, click on the ACPI\HPIC0003 device needing the driver.

Click on the driver tab.  Click on Update driver.

Select the Browse my computer for driver software option, and browse to the driver folder you unzipped.

Make sure the Include subfolders box is checked and the driver should install.

Would this affect the fingerprint driver?  There is an error icon on the Synaptics WBDI Fingerprint Reader - sgx SPI 093?  If I should ask this in a new question just let me know.

I don't know if that driver would cause a problem with the fingerprint reader.

Is this the driver you installed for that?

If so, you may want to try manually installing that driver too.

Using the same approach as the above HPIC0003 device, click on the problem Synaptics WBDI Fingerprint Reader.

And the location of the driver file should be in C:\SWSetup\sp104433.

Make sure the include subfolders box is checked and see if the driver installs.

I have no idea what the solution is referring too (found nothing in device manager that resembled ACPI\HPIC0003).

Instead, I Used Device Manager to uninstall and remove fingerprint driver. I think "5.5.16.XXXX"- cant remember exactly. Gave the computer time to fix itself. It reinstalled an older driver 5.5.10.1102 and is working fine.

I thought I had refused latest fingerprint drivers because this has happened before. It must have installed later drivers with Win 10 v2004.
