I need to backup windows 10 system with all third party applications installed. I don't want to do HP Recovery every time when system crashed or no boot up because it takes too long tome and lost all my third party appliactions. What is best whole WIndows 10 system image backup/restore software for HP laptop?

Thank you very much!

Hi:

I use this free software...You save the image to a portable hard drive, and the software has you create a bootable DVD or USB flash drive that you boot from to access the image saved on your portable hard drive.

Thank you very much for reply.

Does this macrium software backup/restore correctly for EFI and Windows PE tools partitions?

I used AOMEI Backupper to backup/restore WIndows 10 system. It made extra EFI and Windows PE tools partitions when restore Windows system. So there are two EFI partitions and two Windows PE tools partitions on HDD after restoring and it caused computer nor able to bootup. If delete wrong EFI or Windows PE partition the system will not be going boot up anymore. So I need to very carefull to know which EFI or Windows PE parition needs to be deleted, which one needs to be kept.

Hopefully Macrium software does much better job to avoid any confusing.

You're very welcome.

I have used Macrium to restore my images, and it did not create anything other than to restore the same image I backed up.
