Hello, recently I have started getting messages before my Laptop will load, It says that my battery performance is low and I need to replace it. I have used HP website to find out what battery my laptop has but it says that there is some sort of a problem and I can't find it. Also, where would I be able to purchase it and who will be able to change it for me? Thank you.

Please update the BIOS from this Link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers

 

Also run a Battery Test again to confirm the Hardware Functionality

 

- Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
- Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. 
- When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
- On the main menu, click Component Tests and Power > Battery

 

If the Battery Test fails, please contact HP Support for Battery replacement
