What is the best Windows version for the 8570w laptop? Windows 10 or 8.1 or 7?

What is the best Windows version for the 8570w laptop? Windows 10 or 8.1 or 7? 
I use heavy software like Matlab, 3dmax and autocad.

According to the HP specs, it comes either with Win8.1 or Win10 preinstalled.

IF it were mine, I would check the vendors of the apps I relied on to see which versions they supply.  Newer versions generally have more features, but they also tend to cost more.

If the Win8.1 versions have the features you want, and they cost less -- then it becomes a matter of what support the vendors will provide for the older versions.

MS is still providing Updates for Win8.1 but those are only for security patches; they have stopped providing feature updates.

Also, the hardware vendors are focusing on Win10 these years and they tend NOT to provide any more drivers updates for Win8.1.

So, you would be better off for future use if you chose Win10 -- it has current drivers and the products will be supported longer into the future.

When I bought this laptop, it was installed on my laptop by HP Windows 7.
Which version of Windows do I need to install? 7 or 8.1 or 10?

I have installed at 3 operating systems: W10, W8.1, W7 on my HP 8570w and I vote Windows 10 is the best (my HP 8570w have SSD). I used Autocad 2017 and Solidwork 2016
