HP Pavilion dv7-6143cl Entertainment Notebook PC

Refurbishing my laptop for a family in need.  Was looking for the last BIOS for this unit.  HP no longer even has ANYTHING.  Beats audio is missing too.

Hi:

 

Since you have W10 on there, I would not update the BIOS, which you can find under the W7 driver section of the support page.

The BIOS update was only written to be run on W7.

Since the notebook is not supported by HP for W10 and no W10 drivers are available for it, the only suggestion I can offer would be to try the W10 IDT beats audio driver from a newer notebook and see if that works.

 

Restart the PC after installing the driver...
