I updated my computer to Windows 11 it was fine after the update. A few days later I had a few more updates. My laptop got stuck in some loop. I interrupted it and whatever I did wiped everything off my computer. See below. Help!!’n

Hi:
Below is the link to the product specs for your PC.
HP Pavilion - 15-cs0085cl Product Specifications | HP® Customer Support
It comes with a 1 TB 5,400 RPM mechanical hard drive.
I recommend rather than replacing the drive with one of the same kind, you have 3 options:
1. Replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a better performing 2.5" solid state drive (SSD).
2. Replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a M.2 NVMe SSD since your notebook has a M.2 slot for solid state drives.
3. Replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a M.2 SATA SSD.
The NVMe SSD would provide the best performance.
If you were using 1/3 or less of the 1 TB drive's space, you can probably get by with a 500 GB solid state drive.
Below is the link to the service manual where you can find the supported drive types in chapter 1, and the removal and replacement procedures in chapter 5.
