yeah it seems to be working ok now. i had to take the bad stuff out again which should not have been there and i got his recovery files save now on a flash drive. I dont think the virus was really anything very nasty it was a browser hi-jacker called search-shield and his home page was switched to something called Trovi. I looked them up and the web defined them as a virus. Anyway i got them out with the help of malwarebites because them guy's didnt put nothing on to keep nasty stuff out. All he had was windows defender. Their almost as bad as the last place he took his windows 8 to a few years ago, took his maching in with a crashed hard drive and got it back with windows7 a very old windows 7. You want anything done right you have to do it yourself!
