According to the service manual, the two ports next to the power adapter input are USB 3.1 Gen 1.

You're very welcome.
The USB-C specs on your notebook's product specs page indicate that the USB C port's signaling rate has a maximum of 5.0 GB/S, which would be the same as the USB 3.1 'A' ports.

Hi Paul, Thankyou again, for you knowledge.
In effect all 3 USB Ports are Super Speed (SS) 5 GB/s.
If I am correct then technically you can charge the laptop through the Type C Port, not that it would be needed but if you did not have your Power Adapter you could get by, is that right, or am I misinformed on that?

Anytime.
Glad to have been of assistance.
The service manual does not indicate that you can charge any devices via the USB-C port.
You need a thunderbolt port that looks and acts like a USB-C port except it can charge the PC with a supported USB-C adapter.
