HP Spectre x360 14 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 14-eu0000 (7K634AV)

Hi, I own an HP Spectre x360 2-in-1 Laptop, model 14-eu0xxx (2024 model), which is part of HP's premium lineup. I noticed that it is not listed among the HP Business PCs and Workstations tested with the Windows 11 Update (version 24H2). According to HP, any PC not listed was not tested for this update and is not supported by HP for Windows 11.

Since my laptop is a 2024 model, I'm wondering if it just hasn't been tested yet. Do you know when HP plans to release the Windows 11 24H2 update for this device? Are there any steps I can take to ensure my laptop is prepared for the update?

Hi:

 

Since this is a peer-to-peer forum and we don't work for or represent HP, no one will be able to answer any of your questions.

 

The only suggestion I can offer would be to upgrade your notebook to W11 24H2 and if it does not work right afterward you have 10 days to easily go back to W11 23H2 provided you don't delete the Windows.old folder or any of the upgrade files.

 

After 10 days those files will be automatically deleted.

 

To immediately upgrade to W11 24H2, click on the blue Windows 11 installation assistant button at the link below to start the upgrade:

 

Download Windows 11 (microsoft.com)

 

I upgraded my HP 15-ee0047nr notebook to W11 24H2 and that notebook was made in 2020 and W11 24H2 works just fine.

 

The notebook does not even have any W11 driver support from HP.

Thank you for your suggestion! I appreciate the advice regarding the upgrade to W11 24H2 and the option to roll back within 10 days. It’s good to know that your 2020 notebook is running smoothly after the upgrade.

When I asked HP Virtual Assistance, they suggested I post in the forum, so I didn’t realize that this forum isn’t officially representing HP. That’s why I asked here. I wanted to know when HP is planning to test the HP Spectre model for the W11 24H2 update. I guess I’ll have to wait until I receive the update directly from Windows itself. Thanks again for your help!

Note that each build of W11 goes out of support after two years.

 

In other words, W11 23H2 will not get any further updates after November of 2025.

 

That is why I upgrade to the new builds without caution.

 

If something was to not work that I could not fix with a driver update, then I have that 10-day grace period to roll back to the earlier build.

So, if you don't get the W11 24H2 update by next November, you may want to try the update, but by then the next build of W11 25H2 will be released.

Today I received w11 24h2 update for my hp Spectre x360.

I have the same question. Only a differentachine i own the Hp Omen 16 Transcend -u0013dx series or whatever. And it's 12/13/24 and i just recieved a cumulative update for 23H2 today. It still not released in queue. The only way to put the update on my system is to do an in-place upgrade with an ISO file from the seteup.exe, but then it makes the hp cloud recovery tool which for me is so much simpler because it will most likely install most all the correct drivers instead of me having to sift through them as needed or whatever. So idk, and this gaming laptop has an RTX 4070 with an Intel core i9 13900HX processor. But I keep being told by Omen Support that the engineers still haven't finished their workup on it so.....
