Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So the new Intel flaw (like Spectre and Meltdown) is called ZombieLoad and is all over the news today. Intel released microcode updates to mitigate the problem. We are supposed to download them from our "PC vendor".

WHERE ARE THEY? I can't find the HP microcode updates that were released... please advise as this is very important!

@imaref

You are quick. The news I read is aound 4 hours ago (that means around 7AM this Wednesday May 15, 2019). Intel has to develope and send out to vendors, they have to test and clasify.

I expect we have to wait for few more weeks.

Regards.

Hi @imaref

I believe Microsoft already released a fix yesterday for Windows 10 users and should be in Windows update or already installed.

This for version 1809 of Windows 10

Hope it helps,

HP has now set up a support page. Bookmark it so you can get the Intel microcode updates as HP releases them:
