Hello all,
I wished to Install Windows again onto my Probook 4320S. But now im experiencing problems with finding the correct Windows for my computer.
I have lost the recovery cd´s years ago, and even tried to install a "regular" Win 7 Pro, but without success. It did not work with my Windows product key that can be found underneath the machine on a sticker.
The problem seems to be the letters OA. I cannot fid a Win 7 Pro OA anywhere?
Any ideas?
Thanx in advance!

Install Win 7 Pro using the one you have.Skip the step for entering the product key during the install. This will give you 30 days to activate.
Activate your copy (within 30 days) using the product key off the COA. The activation will fail, and you will then have to call Microsoft (it's toll-free in the USA, don't know about international). It's an automated voice system. You give the system the digits shown your screen. You get back other digits to type in. Then activation should be complete.

Maybe, MS has changed their policies -- but it USED TO BE, that once you told them you had an OEM PC, they would tell you to call the OEM and hang up. Perhaps with the automated voice system, this does not happen anymore -- I don't know, as I have not used that system.
But ... if it does NOT work, then we can not help you with the Activation as the product key embedded in your PC is the only one that HP provides and it will not work with anything other than an HP OEM version of Windows, which apparently, you did not install.
I am a volunteer and I do not work for, nor represent, HP

OA = OEM Activation which means that Windows version on that sticker would automatically activate if you use the OEM's Windows DVD to install Windows.
So
For HP, you'd need a HP Windows 7 Pro DVD.
For Dell, you'd need a Dell WIndows 7 Pro DVD. and so forth.
You may be able to find such a DVD on eBay.
