Where to find Windows key

My storage drive crashed.  I did not back up my windows program.  Is there any way to get the original Windows 10 key from HP so I don’t have to purchase a new key for windows?

Hi:

The W10 product key is encrypted in your notebook's BIOS.

You don't need the product key to reinstall W10.

You can use the HP cloud recovery tool and a 32 GB USB flash drive to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall Windows, the drivers and the software that originally came with your PC.
