Hello,
After upgrading to Windows 11, my laptop runs in a loop and shows this message "Preparing Automatic Repair", "Please wait while we install a system update", see the attachment. I thought a recovery file on a flash drive might help.
Where could I download a recovery file?
Does any one have a suggestion as to how to fix this issue?
Thank you

Hi:
See if your notebook is supported by the HP cloud recovery tool which you can use with another Windows PC running W7 64 bit or newer to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.
Here is an info link for how to use that utility...You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the recovery media.

Hello Palu,
Thank you for your help.
I followed the steps in the video, downloaded the file on a USB, and tried to recover the laptop. Unfortunately, I receive the error message as shown below. The video says if there is an issue, disable the secure boot and enable the legacy boot. I did it but it did not help and the loop starts over again.
Do you have an idea what could be done next?
Thank you

You're very welcome.
Unfortunately, I don't have any ideas how you can overcome that issue.
The only other suggestion I can offer would be to use the media creation tool to create a plain W10 USB installation flash drive and clean install W10.
Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)
After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.
