Pavilion 15-au028tu
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello HP community! I'm using Pavilion 15-au028tu with Windows 10 64 bit and know the Intel's security problem recently.

I'm going to update my BIOS, but I have read this article: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05869091 that lists my model as a model to be affected and gives me the download link to SP84464 (version F.44).

However, on my model site, I see my BIOS version is F.45 Rev.A. So which one should I choose? And will it cause the random reboot problem as Intel reported https://newsroom.intel.com/news/intel-security-issue-update-addressing-reboot-issues/

Thank you!

I would install the latest version posted F.45 Rev.A. It will be a rollup of features in previous F.44. The latest BIOS contains updated Intel code to prevent the reboot issue.
