HP Pavilion - 15-cs0053cl
Microsoft Windows 11

While I'm typing - Simultaneoulsy, my cursor disppears and a white bubble pops up in the bottom left corner of my screen, then disappears. I have to locate and re-position my cursor to continue typing. This happens every few words/sentences or every few seconds.

Hi @highdee,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're encountering a specific issue with your HP Pavilion laptop. The disappearance of the cursor and the appearance of a white bubble in the bottom left corner of the screen could be related to a few different factors. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue.

  • Check for Updates: Ensure that your operating system, drivers, and any software you're using are up to date. Outdated software or drivers can sometimes cause unexpected behavior.
  • Disable Touchpad Gestures: The white bubble could be related to touchpad gestures. Go to your laptop's touchpad settings and disable any gestures that might be triggering the bubble unintentionally.
  • Check for Accessibility Settings: Some accessibility settings might cause a white bubble or cursor behavior. Check if any accessibility features are turned on that could be causing this issue.
  • Scan for Malware: Sometimes malware or viruses can cause unexpected behavior on your computer. Run a full system scan with your preferred antivirus software to rule out any malicious software causing the issue.
  • Disable Third-Party Software: If you have recently installed any third-party software, especially those that modify the appearance or behavior of the cursor, try disabling them to see if the issue persists.
  • Boot in Safe Mode: Boot your laptop in Safe Mode to see if the issue still occurs. Safe Mode loads only essential drivers and might help identify if the issue is related to third-party software or drivers.
  • Update or Roll Back Graphics Drivers: Graphics drivers can sometimes cause cursor-related issues. Try updating your graphics drivers to the latest version or rolling back to a previous version if you recently updated them.
  • Reset Touchpad Settings: If the issue is specific to the touchpad, you might want to reset the touchpad settings to their default configuration.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
