Hi @deezertbug,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd like to help!
To be able to answer you effectively, we need some information.
Have you made any changes to your hardware or software?
Were you working on any application when you got this white screen or it happened when it turned on?
Meanwhile, try the following and see how it goes. Also, try going to the Bios screen and see if it same.
POWER DRAIN:
Please disconnect all the devices and cables connected to your computer including the power cable and then press and hold the power button for about 20 seconds and connect the power cable back again and try to power on the computer.
CBR:
Press Windows key and then followed the key "B" this time and then the power button for around 3-4 seconds, then release the power button and continue to hold Windows+B for 3-4 seconds more.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution. Click the “Kudos/Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!
