My Laptop deletes all of my files, downloads, images etc. after it supposedly "updates". How do I fix this ? And how do I get all of my files, etc. back ?

Unfortunately, this is not a new issue with Win10 Windows Updates.

Read this: https://www.howtogeek.com/658194/windows-10s-new-update-is-deleting-peoples-files-again/

Yeah, it's an OLD thread -- but the issues with Windows Update continue to this day and the solutions remain the same.

I appreciate the help. I attempted doing what was listed on the link you provided, but it did not work, the KB4532693 buggy download was not shown/listed in my downloaded updates. I also attempted the searching for my files but I had no success in doing so. Is there instead a way to just permanently erase everything and start the computer over and all users? I ask this because it is exhausting dealing with the computer being fine for some time and then once it "updates" again having it delete everything I had stored on it during the temporary moment it was acting normal.
