Hello,
I recently re-installed Windows 10 on my HP laptop.
The installation looks good, except that it can't connect to the Internet as the machine doesn't show the wifi logo in the bottom right corner.
I couldn't find the wifi card driver for this machine on the HP website. Where could I find it?
Thanks

Hi:
The parts list for your notebook indicates that it comes with a Realtek RTL8822BE Wi-Fi adapter.
Below is the link to the latest driver HP currently has for that model Wi-Fi adapter:
Version 2024.10.230.2
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp157001-157500/sp157102.exe
Below is the link to the latest Bluetooth driver for that model Wi-Fi adapter:
Version 1.10.1072.3000

Hi,
Thanks. I installed the wifi driver, but there was no change in the status.
The Network Connections page still shows only the Bluethooth network icon. The Eathernet and Wifi icons are missing.
What could be wrong?
Also, the specifications of the laptop says the following:
Wireless connectivity | 802.11b/g/n/ac (2x2) Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth® 4.2 combo |
Is this a Realtek card ?

You're very welcome.
Unfortunately, I don't know.
Is there a device listed in the device manager labeled as a Network Controller?
If not, most likely the wireless radio on the Realtek Wi-Fi card has failed and you would need to install a new Wi-Fi card or use a USB Wi-Fi adapter.
If there is a Network controller device, please post the hardware ID for it so I can figure out what model Wi-Fi adapter it is.

You're very welcome.
Yes, that ID was for the Realtek wifi card and the driver I posted I assume you got to install.
Here are the links to many of the other drivers you need for the devices in your screenshot:
SMBus controller & Base System Device:
Intel Chipset Installation Utility and Driver
PCI Simple Comms Controller:
Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) Driver
PCI Data Acquisition...
Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework Client Driver
If you still have drivers needing to be installed, please post the hardware IDs for those drivers.
