Hy, so basically I updated my windows 10 system a few days ago in which my bios was also updated to insyders f.45. From that moment till now, I am only having problems with my laptop.

I was receiving frequent BSOD errors with different error messages and also my wifi worked on system start and become dead after few moments. I had to again restart my system to make it work. I tried to rollnack bios update but it said bips version not compatible

 

Then I formatted my ssd completely on which windows 10 was installed and did a fresh install of windows 11. In this, I updated my system completely as we generally do after fresh windows download. But now my wifi works at random moments only and do not at other times at all. I am receiving BSOD errors less frequently now but still sometimes receive them

 

On doing hp pc diagnostics test uefi, it shows wireless module not installed. 

 

The main problem which I think is BECAUSE OF BIOS UPDATE. this new f45 update completely ruined my system. Please help me. I also did not had a restore point.

I understand you are facing an issue with your Wifi automatically disconnecting  HP laptop. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

 

Please try the following Troubleshoots steps. 

 

1.    Turn off the Unit.

2.    Disconnect the AC adapter.

3.    Remove any discs from the disc drive.

4.    Remove memory cards from the card reader slot.

5.    Disconnect all nonessential peripheral devices, such as printers, scanners, external hard drives, and USB flash drives.

6.    Disconnect the AC adapter press and hold the power button for approximately 15 seconds.

7.    Reconnect the AC adapter, and then turn on the computer.

 

Step 2

Turn off the unit and please press and hold the Windows key + letter B key and the power button together for 30 seconds after 30 seconds, 1st release the power button but keep holding the Windows key and B key for ten more seconds and then release these two keys If done correctly, you will see the display flashing once. Please attempt it thrice as this step and Restart the unit

 

Step3

 

The unit has to be turned off, Press Win+ V while holding these two keys then Press the Power button, continue to hold all three keys for 30 seconds and then release the Power button first and then release these two keys Please attempt it thrice  and then you may get a Pop-Up CMOS Check and it will restart the unit 

Even if you don't get a Pop-up restart the unit manually after 3 attempts.

 

Uninstall drivers on Device Manager

 

Open device manage to Uninstall network drivers on Device Manager

 

1. Open Start.

2. Search for Device Manager and click the top result to open the app.

3. Expand the category with the device driver to remove.

4. Right-click the network and (one by one )device and select the Uninstall device option.

5. Click the Uninstall button. Once you complete the steps, the driver will be entirely removed from the computer.

Restart the unit

 

Please check and update Windows and HP support assistances drivers 

 

And update Bios and other drivers please click on the linkto update the drivers. 

 

Run network commands

 

Try running these network commands to manually reset the TCP/IP stack, release and renew the IP address, and flush and reset the DNS client resolver cache:

Select Search on the taskbar, and type command prompt. The Command Prompt button will appear. To the right of it, select Run as administrator > Yes.

 

At the command prompt, run the following commands in the listed order, and then check to see if that fixes your connection problem:

 

Type netsh winsock reset and select Enter.

Type netsh int ip reset and select Enter.

Type ipconfig /release and select Enter.

Type ipconfig /renew and select Enter.

Type ipconfig /flushdns and select Enter.

hy, so i tried your suggestions. I was unable to perform step 2 and step 3 successfully from the method you mentioned. So I again got the problem.
