Hello,

I would like to know, will I be able to use the Factory reset functionality. Once I install Windows 10 (fresh; not from OEM partition). Provided OEM Partition is intact and only C drive is formated during installation.

Wanted to know my options before I proceed with installation.

Formatting C always seems to break the Factory Reset function. Before Windows 10 you could select the recovery partition in Disk Management and mark it as active to reboot into it. Doesn't seem to work in Win10.

Best option is to make your Recovery  Media on USB flash drive using HP Recovery Manager in Start, Programs.
