The other day, my laptop (older HP laptop with Win 10) suddenly had a blue screen come up that said something about some type of error, then rebooted itself. When it came back up, i could not open any of the "windows based programs" would not open. Meaning, I couldn't get to Control Panel, the Program list, or anything like that. I can open the programs that have been downloaded over the years, however they are VERY slow. I can open Word & Excel, but I can open any pictures. Attached are a couple of the errors that have come up when I've open various programs. Thanks for the help !!!!

Here are some videos to help:

These are ways to try to non destructively repair windows issues.

Thx. While very informative, those videos are no good to me because I cannot access the command prompts or anything related to it. NOTHING opens when I click on the "start" icon, "search" icon, or anything related to standard windows functions.

Ok. I've done all that. When I ran "RestoreHealth", it says "The source files could not be found", then tells me to use the "source" option to specify the files that are required to restore the feature. Then it tells me to go to https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=243077.
I went to the link, but I do not understand what it's talking about. I have a VERY basic computer working knowledge, and have NO clue when it comes to working with program files.
Thanks again for the help.

Scannow was the first thing I ran (per the first set of videos). It said "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix them. Then it said go to a CBS log file for details. I went to the file and it showed a bunch of repaired files, and a bunch of non repaired files. But I have no idea what it all means or how to fix it.
I also ran "CheckHealth" which found "No component store corruption detected"
