Win 11 will not upgrade to 23H2

When will my notebook be able to apply the 23H2 Win 11 update?  I'm stuck on 22H2 while my wife's computer, which is essentially the same but slightly newer, is on 23H2.

Did you try updating to 23H2 by clicking on the blue W11 installation assistant button (1st option) at the link below?

Thanks for the reply.  I guess I'm hesitant to install an application called Win10Updater on a machine that came with Win11 pre-installed and has never had Win10 on it?  Is that really the process to upgrade Win11 to the latest feature update (23H2)?  That is counter-intuitive...

If you are reluctant to use the W11 Installation Assistant to try and update to v23H2, you can do this instead...

Make the bootable W11 23H2 installation flash drive with the Media creation tool (2nd option on that link I posted yesterday).

After the media has been created, open the flash drive in 'This PC.

Double click on the setup application to begin the in-place upgrade.

It's not necessarily that I'm reluctant to use that tool, so much as it seems odd to use a Win10 tool to upgrade Win11.  Perhaps I'm missing something, but I'm sure my wife did not go through this exercise to get to 23H2 on her HP notebook.  She just received the patch through Windows Update and applied it.  I was hoping my update would happen the same way, but since it has not been offered to me, I can't apply it.  Is there some reason why my notebook wouldn't be able to run 23H2?

I can't think of any reason why your notebook shouldn't be able to run W11 23H2 and I don't know why Microsoft hasn't pushed the update to your PC--especially as it was treated as a feature update and not a major update like the previous version was.

The 23H2 update was pretty much the same as how the W10 22H2 update was done.

Remember that you can also use the other option to force the upgrade to 22H3, by making the bootable USB W11 installation media.

I think the first method just saves a step of having to make the installation flash drive.
