Is there any special part related to dvd in windows so that I can update it every time.

Thank you.

None that I know of.

See this guide.  Maybe there is something that will be of help.  I don't understand why it reads some DVD's and not others.

I would like to install service pack and MS is pointing me this link but I think there is no service pack here.

I have downloaded some of them and tried to install they were not service pack.

What do you think about this?

Thank you.

I have downloaded the one which is an iso file. So would you please explain how I can install it? Because it is an iso, shoul I make a bootable usb again to install it?

Thank you.

HP Recommended

Actually, you can just mount the ISO file.

But would you please explain as an alternative way how I can do it by a usb stick or a optic medium?

Thank you.

You can just burn the file to a DVD using the burn ISO file menu on your DVD burning program.

It would have been much easier to download the exe file and just double-click and run it from the desktop, if you don't know what to do with an ISO file.

You cannot boot the SP1 ISO file from a USB flash drive.  It has to auto run from a DVD.

If you can't figure it out, download the 64 bit exe file.

1. I have downloaded the exe file to install but as always something is going bad. The installation has stuck in the half way.

Can the probleblem be related to the windows 7 iso I used to install windows 7. Or can this laptop show its best performans with Win 8? When I was in Win 8 everything was nice.

2. When I formed a bootable .iso file to install windows could I add this sp exe file into that iso file, so that when I formed   a bootable usb and used it to install win 7, can the service pack automatically be  installed in the installation process? Can I do such a thing?

Thank you.

Yes, there is a way to slipstream the SP1 update into the W7 USB installation flash drive.

I don't know how to do it, so I can't be of any assistance with that.
