So i found the option to "Rebuild MBR", and did it.

 

Now when i install the drive back in teh laptop i get "NTLDR missing"

According to the program link I posted you download the file and make a bootable CD with the ISO file.

 

According to the program link I posted, the utility allows you to format the drive MBR-NTFS or GPT.

 

With secure boot disabled, you can only boot from the Internal CD, not the UEFI CD.

You are getting that error when you go to install W7?

 

Usually you get that error if you are trying to boot from the HDD.

All good it booted Finally!

 

I had to rebuild the MBR using the application you mentioned. I selected the non UEFI CD-rom option as you advised and it worked!
