Hi @notHapPyxd

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Thank you for sharing the details. We acknowledge the installation issue you are experiencing while setting up Windows 11 on your HP Pavilion Laptop 15‑eg0124TX.

Let’s go through accurate and recommended steps to ensure the installation completes successfully:

Confirm System Requirements

  • Verify that your laptop meets Windows 11 hardware requirements using the PC Health Check tool available from Microsoft.
  • Ensure BIOS is updated to the latest version from the HP Support site for your specific model.

Prepare the System

  • Back up your important files.
  • Disconnect all external devices except the power adapter, keyboard, and mouse.
  • Ensure the laptop is connected to a stable power source during installation.

Update Drivers and Firmware

  • Open the HP App and run Diagnose & Fix to check for updates.
  • Install all recommended updates, especially chipset, graphics, and storage drivers.

Create Installation Media

  • Use the official Windows 11 Installation Media Tool from Microsoft to create a bootable USB drive.
  • Insert the USB drive and restart your laptop.
  • Press F9 during startup to access the boot menu and select the USB drive.

Perform a Clean Installation

  • Choose “Custom: Install Windows only” during setup.
  • Delete existing partitions carefully and allow Windows to create new ones.
  • Proceed with installation and allow the system to restart automatically.

Post‑Installation Setup

  • Once installation completes, reconnect to the internet.
  • Launch the HP App again and run Diagnose & Fix to install any pending HP drivers or firmware updates.
  • Reconnect external devices one by one after confirming the system is stable.

By following these steps, the installation process should complete smoothly. Would you like me to provide the direct HP Support link for BIOS and driver updates specific to your Pavilion 15‑eg0124TX model?

Take care, and have an amazing day!

Regards,
