HP Notebook - 15-bs661tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My Windows 10 Version is 1803. I wanted to Update it to 21H2 so that i could  Update the AMD Graphic Driver( Since the AMD Software which could automatically identify and installs the latest driver no longer supports my operting system i.e this version of windows) So i felt it was necessary to update. The Windows Update Setitings is buggy and it always fails to install the feature Updates. I tried both Windows 10 Update Assistant & Windows Media Installation and even though the installation was successful, on restart after 'Working on Updates 48% I get a Error message- Windows setup could not configure to run on this computer's hardware.. I have HP Support Assistant and i see no issues on my Laptop.Screenshot_1.png

hi

https://support.hp.com/au-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-15-bs600-laptop-pc/17320018/model/19768220

from what i've seen, for the most part, the newest drivers available are for version 1903 here
try, first to install this version, to perform the HP updates and update microsoft

for AMD drivers, it might not be supported anymore, in this case they don't provide new drivers anymore regardless of windows version

I have updated majority of drivers and its up to date on the hp support assistant. The thing is in settings, the windows update is showing to update it to 1903 but it never gets installed properly or it gets stuck. Its frustrating and solely because of this i resorted to Windows update assistant & windows installation media. Even though both the setups were successful,i always get a error after it restarts and is on the working on updates 48% screen. Then it immediately shuts down automatically before i could even do anything.I have heard of fixes such as opening the command prompt with Shift+F10 when the error is on the screen but there's no response even if i pressed Shift+F10 or Fn+Shift+F10 etc. I havs been trying for weeks & still can't figure out why is it happening.

so if you can't install any version, even by performing a complete installation, I have hardly any other solutions to offer

Installing the latest version of Windows 10
